Description:
The term inventory refers to any record storing information about a product or service that may be used on a job ticket. Items may be defined for the purpose of just loading a description on a line item to full price and availabilty lookup. The inventory file may also be used to store fixed asset information. In addition to being manually entered, inventory items may be imported from another program or another CBS user through a text file. The product number and the description may both be used to find and load inventory information into a job ticket line item.
